Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 cups dry bread cubes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add celery and onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in fresh parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Place bread cubes in a large bowl and pour vegetable mixture over the top.
- Gradually add chicken broth, stirring until bread is evenly moistened.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, until lightly golden on top.
