Ingredients

  • 8–10 lb fully cooked bone-in ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Whole cloves (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Place ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, honey, and Dijon mustard if using.
  4. Pour glaze evenly over the ham. Add cloves if desired.
  5. Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 2 hours, basting occasionally.
  6. Remove foil during the last 20 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  7. Remove from oven, let rest 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
